How the Guide Association Go Began
The story started in 1909 as the Girl Guide Association Go, set up by Agnes Baden-Powell so girls could do the same outdoor activities as Scouts, a group her brother had already built. Queen Elizabeth II even joined as a Guide in 1937, aged just eleven.
